In a posting on the 28 June I detailed my experiences with xps files on XP and at that time said that I had heard that the Vista experience was better.
Well I just opened a XPS on my PC and I had to jump thru the same hoops I did with XP to get xps files to open properly. If Microsoft are trying to compete with PDF files they have a long way to go in the usability stakes. At the moment the effort is amateur at best.
